Gold crosses ₹75 thousand for the first time

The price of gold has reached its all-time high today (25 September). According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), on Wednesday, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold increased by Rs 496 to Rs 75,260. Earlier on Tuesday, its price was Rs 74,764 per ten grams. So far this week, gold has become costlier by Rs 1167.There has also been a big increase in the price of silver today. It became costlier by Rs 1,922 and reached Rs 90,324 per kg. Earlier, silver was at Rs 88,402. This year, silver has reached its all-time high of Rs 94,280 per kg on May 29.

Delhi: The price of 10 grams 22 carat gold is Rs 70,750 and the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold is Rs 77,170.
